GERMANY 1st week

First week of Germany, such a great country to study, so many interesting facts, places and people.. ....and castles....we LOVE castles. This one is the castle that they modeled the Sleeping Beauty castle after in Disneyland.

We are also reading Grimms Fairy Tales

Our science focus this week was classifying the animal kingdom

Vertebrates and Invertebrates

bivalves, cephalpods, gastropods, echinoderms, porifera, caldarians, and annelids oh my!

...more fun stuff in Germany next week!

France was our focus for the past couple of weeks, in that time Valentines day fell so I found a really fun math activity using conversation hearts. We sorted them into colors

Then we estimated, counted and graphed each one.

We then painted pictures of the Eiffel tower. This one is Jadyn's.

Kidz Wurld had baby farm animals visit so we went and checked them out. I wanted to take ALL of them home.

especially this little guy...

Seriously!! How cute is he??!!!

baby bunnies!!

wrapped in blankets so they couldn't escape lol

tiny chicks

and kittens too, so fluffy

Jadyn wanted to take a chick home, I did too, but we can't have them where we live =( oh well, maybe someday...On to Germany!!
