Just for fun during the summer we made Beach Collection Jars. These jars stay at home (because they are glass) and we collect pretty shells, rocks, beach glass or whatever else interests us when we go exploring on the beach. When we get home we put them in our jars.
First we washed out some spaghetti sauce jars, any large glass jar will do
Then we ripped up tissue paper into long skinny pieces, this was the kids favorite part, we used blue, but you can use any color you'd like
soak the tissue paper in white glue and apply to your jar. Sticking your tongue out during this process is extremely helpful!

Finished Jars!! FABULOUS! We tied some raffia around the tops later on after they dried, but you can decorate the finished project any way you wish..
